In this episode, I’m joined by an internationally recognised expert – Matt Gurney, European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Together, we take a deep dive into the topic of subcutaneous ketamine for long-term analgesia in chronic pain patients.

We discuss how ketamine works, why its unique properties make it such a valuable drug and what advantages the subcutaneous route offers. Matt shares his recommended dosing strategies, explains in which clinical situations ketamine is especially useful, and highlights what to pay attention to in everyday practice.

Our goal is to provide a clear, practical understanding of how to use subcutaneous ketamine effectively and safely to optimise patient care.
